Public Transportation

There are a couple of options at SLC when it comes to public transport - Light Rail (TRAX) and Bus Service - provided by the Utah Transit Authority. This is a safe transportation option and much cheaper than any other transfer, so it’s great for those who don’t have lots of luggage.

The light rail Green Line departs every 15 minutes (20 on weekends), and the TRAX stop is at the south end of Terminal 1. The one-way fare is $2.50.

There are several bus routes serving the airport and offering service on weekdays only from SLC:

  • Route 453 - Salt Lake City to Tooele;
  • Route 454 - Salt Lake City to Grantsville;
  • Route 551 - SLC Airport to the International Center.

The regular bus ticket also costs $2.50.
